This automobile is a remanufactured example of the famous Porsche 917K that was driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Le Mans.This automobile is identical in appearance to the factory Porsche 917K which won many races for the Porsche factory.

It has the pale blue and orange Gulf colours, paint scheme of the most successful 917s, and is just so low and long and wonderful. This automobile is equipped with a 3.6 liter Porsche RSR engine rated at about 380 h.p, and a Porsche 5-speed gearbox. If desired, at additional cost, it can be delivered with a Porsche 5.4 liter flat-12 engine based on the original design. The 917 was never designed to be pretty, of course. It was designed to be fast. The beauty is just a happy corollary.
